Details
Playing a Fish, c. 1875 is a charming vintage painting of a dapper fisherman landing his catch on a calm northern lake. Part of Celadon Art's Northern Collection of vintage boreal images, it has a nostalgic, storybook quality that feels right at home at the cottage.
The image is mounted on board and framed in a rustic wood moulding with a distressed grey finish. Its small scale makes it perfect for a bookshelf, a powder room, a bunkie, a hallway, or grouped with other Northern Collection pieces in a gallery wall.
Ideal for cottages, lodges, and cabins, this piece pairs beautifully with warm wood, plaid textiles, and rustic or traditional décor.
Dimensions: 22"W x 14"H
