Shipping & Delivery Procedures
Our deliveries typically commence at 9:00 AM and continue until all scheduled deliveries are completed. Exact times are not feasible due to routing complexities, professional delivery drivers make every best effort to make it to your home on time. For added convenience, you may request a call one hour before the estimated arrival time. As an added convenience that many of our competitors have made away with we will remove your old household goods for a modest labour and dumping fee.
A signature from an individual aged 18 or older is required for all delivery orders. This person must also accompany our delivery crew into your home or apartment. If you reside in a condominium or apartment building, please ensure that the service elevator is booked in advance.
All outstanding balances must be settled at least 1 day before the scheduled delivery date. While the delivery is occurring, our professional delivery drivers can accept payment for additional services should they arise.
While pin-hinged doors can be removed, we cannot undertake carpentry work such as removing doorway moldings or banisters. Our delivery associates wear safety footwear at all times and use protective boot covers to safeguard your floors.
Please ensure that your driveway, walkways, and indoor pathways leading to the designated area are cleared before delivery. Remove any pictures or fragile items from narrow hallways or stairways.
In cases of unusual or difficult delivery conditions, you will be informed beforehand of the potential risk of damage. You may choose to sign a damage waiver or opt to have the merchandise returned to the store.
We cannot assume responsibility for any damage incurred during the movement of items not listed on your invoice, nor are we liable for damages caused by any third party recommended by us.
A restocking fee may be applicable if unwrapped items do not fit through the doorway or intended space. We recommend measuring the units and your premises before the scheduled delivery.
